“ Checked out Patria with a few friends because we were craving paella and man was this a great choice. The food was amazing, everything was super flavourful and yummy! All the dishes were worth every dollar, their prices are also pretty reasonable for a vibe-y place like this. The service was great, our waitress was very patient with us when we were deciding what to order. They also gave us a dessert on the house because they knew we were celebrating a birthday! They made sure we were done taking all the pictures and videos before mixing our paella. The atmosphere once you step in was already phenomenal. Super vibe-y and aesthetic if you’re looking for a nice restaurant to catch up with some friends or a cute little date night! Will definitely be back to try their other menu items! I recommend everyone to check out this place especially if you’re interested in Spanish food. ”

“ This place is an EXPERIENCE, starting with a set of gorgeous doors that made quite an impression, friendly hosts, a tastefully decorated interior, nice dim lighting and overall an amazing ambiance! The food and the service were nothing short of excellent. The seafood paella is a must try! It is cooked slowly to perfection, ensuring every grain of rice is packed with flavour! 10/10 would recommend! ”

“ Been to Patria many times now and liked their recent interior update. Our server was pretty good with paying attention to our table throughout the meal. I do like that other staff that come by to pick up the dirty dishes clean up the table too when they change out cutlery. It would be an improvement for the server to clean the table as well when they do that so service standards are more consistent. The oxtail stuffed pepper was tasty and I liked the combination of flavours and textures. The grilled octopus was also good. The meat was cooked well and I like the combination with the potatoes also being somewhat similar in texture. The paellas do take some time to make, so there was a bit of a wait for that after the apps. The flavours were great and you can taste a certain depth of seafood flavour in the rice itself. One thing I wish was done better was the socarrat - didn’t find much of a distinct crispy layer of the rice at the bottom. The server who brought the paella over had mixed the rice in for us. Otherwise, everything else was cooked well and found the mussels particularly tasty and fresh. Their basque cheesecake was a nice texture too. It would be nice if the sauce was a bit thicker in my opinion. Otherwise, maybe serving this dish with a spoon would be helpful so that guests can actually pick up the sauce and taste it. ”

“ Came here for a birthday dinner and was instantly awed by the decor and ambiance. The establishment is dimly lit, has artistic elements, which exudes class and comfort combined. Only drawback is I find the seating arrangements too close. I could literally stretch across and grab something from the table beside me if I wanted to. The food was delicious but I’ve had better. Ordered the seafood paella and ceviche for starters. The paella was burnt at the bottom and you could see the oil pooling in the bottom of the pan. The cocktails were pretty mediocre as well, but nothing to cry about. Crystal was who really made my night special. She had so much charisma and despite it being a busy night, she was attentive and always came around to make sure things were going well. She’s super friendly and offers service with a genuine smile. It was really appreciated! ”

Their paella was also very flavourful but their octopus was a tad on the plain side. Forgot the name of the desert but the one with a bit of cake and cream is a must order! ”
